This article contains major spoilers for the latest instalment of The Celebrity Traitors.

It looks like Jonathan Ross’ days on The Celebrity Traitors could well be numbered, as more and more of his fellow contestants are starting to suspect that he’s secretly on the dark side.

That being said, though, if the “Faithfuls” actually want to get him out, they’re going to have to pick up that chalk and vote for him at some point.

Wednesday night’s instalment saw several members of the cast privately confiding in one another that they suspect the talk show legend is a “Traitor”, with some going as far as taking their suspicions to his face.

Even fellow “Traitor” Cat Burns initially threw out Jonathan’s name at the round table, claiming she felt torn between him and Stephen Fry.

However, when push came to shove, Jonathan proved once again to be the King Of Misdirection, with only Celia Imrie putting his name down as a suspected “Traitor” during the first round table vote of the episode.

As a result, many viewers found themselves shouting the same thing at their TV sets as the “Faithfuls” once again failed to act on their commonly-held suspicions…

Jonathan is now safe for at least one more day in the castle, but the same can’t be said for two of his co-stars.

In a first for The Traitors UK, historian David Olusoga and Line Of Duty actor Mark Bonnar split the vote, causing the group to have to cast them for a second time.

After this proved to have the same result, the episode ended on a cliffhanger, when Claudia Winkleman teased that the decision of whether David or Mark would be banished would be left “up to chance”.

The Celebrity Traitors continues on Thursday night at 9pm on BBC One.
