Do they not see their clutter?

My landlady is definitely a hoarder, she is relatively clean but just very unorganized.

I recently moved a pair of rain boots and a reusable bag with some old socks down to the storage area in our basement. These are the only items I have ever put down there and she is asking me when I’m going to move them because the space is getting cluttered.

She has a sea of boxes and other items down there but my size 6 rain boots are what’s cluttering up the space? I don’t understand. ​
