In theory, autumn is a cosy, baking-friendly season. In reality, though, I often find myself too exhausted to even think of what to eat for dinner – I mostly stick to recipes I know work, which has left me in a bit of a rut. 

If, like me, you think it’s time for a change, the netizens of Reddit’s  have got our backs. 

Writing to the forum earlier this year,  asked members to list the “best recipe you’ve ever gotten off the internet”. 

Here are some of the best responses (we only selected the ones that were free to access):
